Mouth-Watering Galbi Recipe – Korean-Style Grilled Short Ribs

Galbi, also known as Korean-style short ribs, is a heavenly dish that will make your mouth water. Utilizing a marinade featuring traditional Korean spices, this meaty dish is perfect for any special occasion. Not only is it incredibly appetizing, it is easy to make, and ideal for all skill levels.

Ingredients:

  • 1/2 cup of sesame oil
  • 1/2 cup of soy sauce
  • 1/4 cup of fresh minced garlic
  • 1/4 cup of fresh chopped green onion
  • 2 tablespoons of brown sugar
  • 1 tablespoon of freshly grated ginger
  • 1 tablespoon of sesame seeds
  • 3 tablespoons of honey
  • 5 pounds of flanken-style beef short ribs

Instructions:

  1. In a medium bowl, whisk together all of the marinade ingredients.
  2. Place the short ribs in a large bowl and pour the marinade over them.
  3. Cover the bowl and let the ribs marinate in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours, or up to 12 hours. The longer the ribs marinate, the more flavorful they will be.
  4. Remove the ribs from the marinade and discard the excess marinade.
  5. Heat a grill to medium-high heat and grease it lightly.
  6. Grill the short ribs for 5-7 minutes per side, until the ribs are cooked through and slightly charred.
