- 3 cups cooked short grain brown rice
- 2 tablespoons sesame oil
- 1 onion, diced finely
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/2 cup carrots, diced
- 1/2 cup frozen peas
- 1/2 cup canned sliced bamboo shoots
- 1-2 green onions, sliced
- Salt, to taste
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 1/4 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper

Cooking the Rice
