Homemade Japchae Recipe, A Korean Glass Noodle Dish

Ingredients:
- 1 package of glass noodles
- 3 tablespoons of sesame oil

- 1/4 cup of thinly sliced beef (optional)
- 1/4 cup of thinly sliced onion
- 2 large carrots, julienned
- 1/4 cup of mushrooms, sliced
- 2/3 cup of small spinach leaves, washed
- 1/3 cup of soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon of sugar
Instructions:
- Cook the noodles according to the package instructions, drain and lightly rinse in cold water.
- In a large skillet or wok, heat the sesame oil over medium-high heat. Add the garlic, beef (if using), onion, carrots, mushrooms, and spinach. Cook for about 3 minutes until the vegetables are tender.
- Add the noodles, soy sauce, and sugar. Cook for an additional 3-4 minutes, stirring occasionally.
- Serve warm or at room temperature. Enjoy!
