  • 1/4 cup black bean paste
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 1/4 teaspoon paprika
  • 2 cups chopped zucchini (optional)

Directions

  1. Dice onion, bell pepper, and pre-cooked pork, and chop the cabbage into thin strips.
  2. Mix black bean paste, 3/4 cup water, teaspoon of paprika, 1/4 cup of sugar, and 1/4 cup of soy sauce in a bowl, and set aside.
  3. Heat the cooking oil in a deep-sided frying pan on medium heat.
  4. Add diced garlic, onion, and bell pepper and stir fry for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
  5. Add pre-cooked pork slices, cabbage, and zucchini if desired.
  6. Keep stirring until pork and vegetables are well mixed.
  7. Stir in black bean sauce mixture, turn heat to low-medium, and simmer for 10-14 minutes until the vegetables are tender.
