Ingredients

  • 7 cloves of garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons of soy sauce
  • 1 teaspoon of black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon of ground ginger
  • 1 tablespoon of sesame oil
  • 1 teaspoon of garlic powder
  • 2-3 lbs of chicken pieces
  • 1 cup of all-purpose flour
  • 2 eggs, beaten
  • 1 cup of panko bread crumbs
  • Vegetable oil for frying

Instructions

For the marinade, mix together the garlic, soy sauce, black pepper, ground ginger, sesame oil, and garlic powder. Place the chicken in a shallow dish and evenly coat it with the marinade. Cover and let it marinate for at least 30 minutes.

Start heating up a large skillet with some vegetable oil. Set up a dredging station by putting the flour, beaten eggs, and panko breadcrumbs in separate shallow bowls.

Remove the chicken from the marinade and dredge it in the flour first, then the egg, and then coats it in the panko crumbs. Place the chicken pieces in the skillet and fry for 7–8 minutes or until golden and crispy. Serve the chicken hot with rice and your favorite condiments.
