Korean Fried Tofu Recipe – A Crispy and Delicious Snack
Are you looking for an easy snack to make for your next gathering? Look no further than Korean Fried Tofu – it’s a crowd pleaser every time! This incredibly tasty snack is made with deep-fried tofu that is coated in a crunchy mix of spices, garlic, and sesame oil for a flavor that will have everyone begging for more.
To start, gather together all the ingredients you’ll need for this recipe: extra-firm tofu, all-purpose flour, sesame oil, garlic, and your choice of spices. Not sure what spices to use? A combination of garlic powder, black pepper, and red pepper flakes works great.
Cut the tofu into 1 inch cubes, then coat in a mixture of the flour, garlic powder, black pepper, and red pepper flakes. Heat up some oil in a deep pot or fryer, and then add the coated tofu cubes. Fry the cubes until they turn golden brown, about 3 minutes. Once golden brown, remove the cubes and drain any excess oil using a slotted spoon.
Next, heat up some sesame oil over medium-high heat, and then add in the garlic and spices of your choice. Use a spatula to stir the garlic and spices, and then add the fried tofu cubes back into the pot. Stir the tofu cubes gently, until they’re all coated in the sesame oil mixture.
Now it’s time to enjoy your freshly cooked Korean Fried Tofu! Serve them on a plate as an appetizer, or enjoy them as a tasty snack. Either way, you and your guests are in for a treat!
